Adventure Treks is all about making memories, making friendships, and making more confident young men and women through amazing outdoor adventures. Sometimes it is not easy to convince young people to take a risk and escape their comfortable lives at home. But the world to be discovered with Adventure Treks is better, more playful, and infinitely more fun than the one left behind. Our students witness scenery that takes their breath away. They become a contributor and a central figure in a close community. They make friendships that last long beyond the trip. Here they truly discover themselves and are impressed with who they see.
We have put our heart and soul and over 30 years of experience into Adventure Treks. When we first started, we never could have imagined that so many people would consider Adventure Treks their second home. There is a reason students return year after year (our return rate is three times that of any similar program) and a reason Adventure Treks students share a bond and mind set that lasts long beyond the summer.

Is Adventure Treks Licensed and Permitted?
Adventure Treks is a North Carolina corporation that operates under Special Use Permits from the following land agencies: WASHINGTON: North Cascades National Park, Olympic National Park, Gifford-Pinchot National Forest, Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Wenatchee National Forest. OREGON: Mt Hood National Forest, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, Deschutes National Forest. CALIFORNIA: King Range Bureau of Land Management, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Lassen Volcanic National Park. BRITISH COLUMBIA: E.C. Manning Provincial Park. ALASKA: Chugach State Park, Chugach National Forest, Alaska State Lands. NORTH CAROLINA: Pisgah National Forest. MONTANA: Lolo National Forest. UTAH: Fish Lake National Forest.
We are also a licensed Oregon outfitter, and we have business liscences in Alaska and Utah.
In the few areas we use where we can’t obtain permits due to moratoriums, we contract with the finest licensed and permitted outfitters.
