Summer is about being outdoors! It’s about fresh air, incredible scenery, the sense of being truly alive, the camaraderie of shared challenge, and the chance to leave school and home lives behind.
No experience is necessary to join an adventure! We will teach you all the skills you need so you can thrive in the outdoors. You will quickly see how much fun outdoor activities can be and how little you need in the way of material possessions to have the best time of your life.
These days, few children get to be immersed in the outdoors. As our world becomes more complicated, the need for youth to spend formative time in wilderness has never been so urgent. Last Child in the Woods, by Richard Louv, documents the positive academic, social, and character-building benefits of time spent in nature. By exploring wilderness in their youth, students develop the habits that make outdoor activities and adventure a part of their lives forever.
We believe that our small-group adventures, with excellent leaders and peers, can be the defining experience in a young person’s life.
