Adventure Treks had partnered with our friends at The White Mountain School's "White Mountain Summer" to bring you New England Exploration and the Ultimate Northeast. The Ultimate Northeast offers exciting activities at every level of challenge to match your individual needs.
We will teach you everything you need to know during our scenic day hike. Then, you can choose your level of challenge for our backpacking trip. You’ll spend four days hiking and camping in the beautiful White Mountains. You may even learn a bit about the forest along the way. We’ll cross rivers, explore the rugged mountain landscape, and camp in pristine areas.
Spend 2 full days rock climbing; one at each of these legendary climbing areas. Both located in northern New Hampshire, they have 1000’s of fantastic climbs for rock climbers of all ability levels.
We will enjoy 2 days on the #1 rated mountain bike trail network (by Bike Magazine) in the North America! These trails are perfect for beginners, as well as advanced riders.
We take our journey over the next border and head to Maine’s Kennebec River. Our first day we will learn to paddle our own sit on top kayaks starting in class I and II water before moving on to exciting class III sections. We will spend the night on the river and the next morning switch our kayaks for rafts to take on the infamous class IV Gorge and many other exciting rapids.
This trip ends climactically, as we take a day to head up to our base camp on the highest mountain in the northeast. The following morning we make an alpine start for the summit of this spectacular peak.
Space is Limited. Call 888-954-5555 for more information about this trip and to check availability. Apply early to ensure the trip of your choice.

illness, ever changing permit regulations, any potential threat to safety, or even a brilliant idea from an instructor or student. In the event of a schedule change, comparable activities will be substituted when possible and you will be notified by e-mail of significant changes.
Is this the best trip for me?
The New England Exploration is a perfect trip for students age 13-14 who are currently in 6th-8th grade. With 24 students in the group, you will be challenged appropriately because we break up into small groups for each activity based on your interest and ability. Students spend time at our basecamp between activities, so this is a great trip for students who want the next step beyond summer camp.
What other trips might be right for me?

“I expected this trip to be like any other camp. I expected to eat bad food, hike and go to bed. It was NOTHING like that. This was sooo much more than just a camp. It was a life changing experience.”

Patrick’s experience was wonderful and better than we expected. He quickly made friends with children from around the world and they still keep in touch. The counselors were very professional and had an obvious love and respect for the outdoors. We loved how adventure treks emphasize love of community as well as nature. He returned from this camp a more confident and mature young man. He can't wait for his next adventure in 2010 we thank u very much

It was a great experience and a departure from a traditional camp experience. It was more interactive and more emphasis was placed on developing character skills through the various activities.
