Adventure Treks admissions process

Adventure Treks is not an open-enrollment program. To ensure a mutually good fit, new families fill out admissions forms, including a student questionnaire, parent questionnaire, and health history; new students must also provide at least one character reference from school. This information helps us determine a mutually good fit, us allows us to get to know our families before we meet our students, and helps us create the best possible peer groups on every trip. Once all admissions forms have been completed and reviewed, we will be in touch about official acceptance. If a student is not accepted to Adventure Treks, the $1,000 deposit is fully refundable. Please read more about our application process and payment and cancellation policies in our terms and conditions.

If a program is listed in red with an hourglass icon, it means that program is full. You must still complete the application to be put on the waitlist (there is no charge to be waitlisted).

Adventure Treks is committed to making teen outdoor adventure camps accessible to as many teenagers as possible. In addition to in-house financial aid, Adventure Treks works with the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Charlie Wellman Memorial Fund to provide scholarships for deserving students. Financial aid typically ranges from 10 to 50 percent of tuition cost; the amount awarded varies per year and by student. Additionally, not all trips will have space available for scholarship funding, so we ask that students remain flexible in trip choice. Click here to read more about our scholarship fund, and please email us with questions and for the financial aid application!
